The Glyph Quick Questionnaire

Concept

Convenience! How often do you communicate with clients trying to get the required information in an actionable and understandable way for yourself?! Time and again, we think about how to optimize the process of our interaction with the customer. Our goal is to get all the data on the design in a short period!

This is what became the main reason for the design of the Quick Questionnaire. The communication process goes dynamically, with the use of non-default controls that give a feeling of smoothness and playfulness at all stages! But most importantly, the Quick Questionnaire provides customer's ideas, vision, and expectations about the project more accurately.

Colors

Color is always a fundamental component of the design. Color influences styling choices and adds to emphasize the details. But in our case, we chose neutral, pure, light grayscale tones. In this case, the main goal was collecting information from the client and catchy colors would take too much attention. The simplicity of the color palette choices allows the user to focus on the main thing and quickly go through all the steps.

Grid

Let's talk more specifically about the other design fundamentals and our approach to it. Whatever we do, the core pillar of our work is structure, without which it is simply impossible to create a high-quality and complete design of any product. In this presentation of the product, we want to portray in detail how the created a grid influences the layout.

Shadows

If there are shadows in design, we should pay close attention to specify the shadows' parameters in different applications to avoid chaos. While creating consistent shadows, we must also consider the scaling of objects and how shadows change accordingly. The control of the parameters of opacity and size of the shadow spots is our target in this case.

Below, you can see a more detailed map. The use cases of the shadows are a part of a handoff guide that helps to avoid the use of disparate styles in the development process, and it also makes it possible to make the design feel consistent and uniform.
Animation

To make the design come to life, the rule of thumb is the usage of animation with micro-interactions. To make the transitions consistent across the design, we test a variety of animation parameters and keep the most fluid ones. Curves serve as a collaboration language both for designers and developers. But it's easier to look at how animation works, than reading about it, so please
have a look.
Design

Summing it all up, let's look at selected screens from the Quick Questionnaire. We've combined concise design with an unconventional controls’ behavior, which greatly galvanized the design to help to make the briefing process more fun and engaging.

You can also see how easy it is to use the application, interesting UI solutions contribute to the smooth interaction of the user with the design!

Hope this case study helps you make the decisions you're up to.
